Summary: This Portuguese tale of love and disaster sees two recently dumped women, Rui and Odete, obsessed with the same man, Pedro. Pedro has left Rui on their anniversary, and the unstable Odete is determined to have him for herself. All three are forced to face up to their desires when events take a turn to the extreme.
