Summary: This feature-length anime, based on the Sega Video Game, follows the adventures of the cute and speedy little blue hedgehog. Using his incredible jumping abilities, Sonic engages in a battle of wits with his archenemy, the evil, orange-mustachioed Dr. Robotnik. Though the evil doctor has been cast out from the Land of Darkness, he passes on the secret that a sabotaged Robot Generator will soon destroy Planet Freedom! Sonic hesitates to act until the lovely Sara, the President's daughter, pleads for action. Will Sonic reach the Robot Generator in time?
