Summary: A courtroom thriller based on a novel by Judge William Coughlin, SHADOW OF A DOUBT stars Brian Dennehy as Charley Sloan, a successful attorney turned alcoholic. When the stepdaughter of a former flame needs to be defended against murder charges, Charley is forced to come out of his shell and face his demons in the context of death threats and a possible murderer on the loose.
