Summary: Surinder Sahni aka Soori (Shahrukh Khan) is an introverted, responsible, sincere, realist working as a govt employee in a company named Punjab Power. Taani (Anushka Sharma) is an extroverted, flamboyant, fun-loving, vivacious, dreamer set to get married to the guy she loves. Unforeseen circumstances, however, forces Taani to get married to Surinder and Taani finds herself in a love-less, routine life due in part to the large difference in their age and personalities.
