Summary: Thakra (Amrish Puri), a cruel lawyer, has Deepak (Girish Karnad) sentenced to death for a murder he didn't commit. Deepak's son Arun (Anil Kapoor) becomes an advocate for his father's plight, struggling to clear his good name. But Thakra's son Vicky (Javed Jaffrey), carrying on his father's nasty work, won't rest until Arun and his entire family are destroyed. Subhash Ghai directs this award-winning drama with music by Laxmikant and Pyarelal.
