Summary: Like many Iranian films, LIFE AND NOTHING MORE... presents a simple narrative with an ostensibly objective recounting of real events as its base. The director, played by Farhad Kheradmand, learns that the region where he shot his 1987 film WHERE IS THE FRIEND'S HOME? has been struck by a terrible earthquake. Concerned about the safety of his young actors, he sets out with his son Puya to ascertain their survival. Following a thoroughly rural route, the director and his son begin a quest not unlike the one taken by the protagonist in WHERE IS THE FRIEND'S HOME?
