Summary: Directed by Allen Hughes (MENACE II SOCIETY), KNIGHTS OF THE SOUTH BRONX is based on the true story of an inner-city elementary school teacher. Ted Danson (CHEERS) stars as Richard Mason, who transforms his students' lives by teaching them the game of chess. Against all odds, he becomes a mentor to these underprivileged children and inspires them to better themselves.
