Summary: This winning 2002 romantic drama from Mehul Kumar follows two Gujaratis (Fardeen Khan and Amrita Arora) who meet in New York--and instantly hate each other--shortly before flying to India for arranged marriages to other people. When events in India force them into close proximity, they develop a growing attraction--but one that, for their families' sakes, they're unable to act on.
