Summary: A true story, based on the life of Sada Abe, a young woman thrown out of her home for losing her virginity to a rapist. Without a home, Sada wandered through the city alone, eventually becoming a geisha to support herself. Both a realistic look at how young women can easily turn to prostitution and an erotic tale of l'amour fou, the story centers on Sada's torrid week long affair with Kichizo, a wealthy restauranteur, which eventually ends with a violent crime of passion.
